I have had several blogs over the past few years. I've written to myself (for after all, isn't that what most journals are for, talking to oneself and quiet reflection?) since my mentor in high school recommended I start and maintain a journal. I used to write long hand, in my sloppy loopy handwriting, 'til my hand would hurt. Much easier to be long winded with a keyboard ;).
I am stuck, as I often am, with how personal to make this blog. How much of myself do I show to the people I allow to view it? My 'open and honest' policy in life has gotten me into trouble with people I care about more than once. Ranting about discord or bitching about a friend or family member, while it seems just fine in the heat of the moment, may come back to bite me on the ass. But, for now, I am going to try this; try and be as open as I am comfortable with being on here *taps computer screen*.
Wish me luck.

Thanks for your visit and comment CC!
Are you blogging somewhere else? I'd love to visit you. It's a difficult question about how to decide how much to include of your life. I'm pretty open since I no longer work and one would need a mountain guide to find me. I don't have an identity worth stealing. But I mainly write about other people. So, when appropriate, I do change names and switch stuff around.
Love to read more about you!
Well hello there, Rosie!
I didn't expect to see you here. Thanks so much for the visit. As you can see, I'd forgotten about my blog here. I'll see if I can't do a little better in the future. Feel free to check out my yahoo blog at http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-MZDwbX0yeqqIzW_BzEz3ztyFCQ--;_ylt=AhSKvD43z9pJFPtQaDJ7sT.0AOJ3?cq=1
I hope you don't mind, but I had written about your blog there and encouraged my pals to check it out.
Thanks for stopping in!
Lisa
